Mudassar embarked on a dream to provide a state-of-the-art residential educational institution at his native village near Kharian, a town in the district of Gujrat. The ordeal a family experiences when a disabled child is born was witnessed at first hand by him in his village. His feelings were intensified when in France he was informed that with early detection and the use of new techniques available in other parts of the world much of the misery could be avoided. He embarked on a personal commitment to help children. He was fortunate that with God's blessing and his persistence the Al-Mudassar Educational Foundation came into being.
