Old school AL-MUDASSAR 1999 – 2009

The humble effort began in 1999 when Syed Mudassar Hussain Shah rented a house in Kharian for providing education and school health services to special children living in the neighborhood. Having spent his childhood with two blind siblings, Shah was sensitized at very early age to the needs of special children. Thus started a private venture—that was totally funded by Shah’s family and close friends—and today, by the Grace of ALLAH, the 20-hectare facility at Bahirwal village stands as a testimonial to one man’s dreams of making a difference in the lives of so many disadvantaged by nature.
